Inclement Weather Policy:
Sailing in different weather conditions is part of the learning experience In the case of inclement weather, or other conditions that may be deemed unsafe, Bonneville School of Sailing reserves the right to cancel. Certain aspects of on-the-water training may also be administered while safely at the dock.
Inclement weather is determined based on the criteria of safety and comfort and is generally defined as:
Persistent, rainy conditions (not a passing shower
Thunderstorm/lightning activity which cannot be avoided safely under sail.
High winds (threat of micro-burst activity) or high waves making sailing unsafe.
Cancellation Policy:
If Bonneville cancels we will reschedule the lesson.
Please note: If the customer cancels or misses a lesson, after lesson dates have been confirmed, lessons can be made up at an additional rate of $60.00 per hour.
No refunds will be given if the course is cancelled less than 14 days prior to beginning unless we can fill the course vacancy.
Please be advised that the State Parks charge an entry fee. It is now $20.00 to drive in and $5.00 to walk in. Unfortunately we have no control over this fee, but the park has given us a couple of options for our students. Please pay the first time you come in and save your receipt. You will get a pass for the next 5 lessons.
