on Utah Lake
This clinic will be conducted by Tim Adams, race veteran of
the Newport-Cabo San Lucas race series, past instructor for Sailors World,
Mexico Ocean Racing Circuit (MEXORC) IOR 1 ton class, and currently bringing
home trophies from the GSLYC race series in his Bruce Farr ½ tonner. Tim has
raced and crewed aboard J-24, Merit 25, Ranger 29, Catalina 25, Swan 65, Hood

this caliber to “show us the ropes”. Don’t miss this one!
Our platform for this year’s spinnaker clinic will be
onboard Bonneville’s Olson 30, “Wyewacket”. A proven thoroughbred race
participant in the Pacific Northwest’s Sail Wars, The Swiftsure, Whidbey Island Series and club racing out of the Corinthian Yacht Club, Wyewacket is a respected name in this legendary one design class.
We still have one opening left.

Bonneville visits the Center for Wooden Boats in
Seattle.
Since being introduced to Dick Wagner, founding Director of
CWB, at the 2007 San Diego Maritime Convention, a lasting mentoring friendship
has developed. We have returned again in 2010 for our third meeting, to visit
and learn from a great advocate of preserving maritime heritage, teaching
self-disciple and personal confidence through the sport of sailing. We arrived
just after CWB’s hectic July 4th boat festival, and
After CWB it was up to British Columbia and some “away time”
on beautiful Okanagan Lake and a visit to the Kelowna Yacht Club. Check out one of KYC’s
entries in the Southern Straights race, eh?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13bo7-pUQ5w
Bonneville is growing
Due to a rapid increase in sailing lesson inquiries, we have
brought more instructors “on board” to facilitate your sailing dreams and
busy schedules. We know you will enjoy sailing with Dale & Matt. Come and join us and experience the fun of sailing on Utah Lake.
