Fishing Line VS. Outboard Engine


The Pro's say pull your OB and check for fishing line wrapped around your prop shaft...or else!


Two weeks into our season, and already we have fishing line around our prop shaft.
Last year, fishing line TKO'd our Nissan 9.8 OB.


Do you remember the world supply chain coming to a screeching halt
with that freighter cross ways in the Suez Canal?
Try and find replacement parts for your Nissan OB during that crisis.

It would be a good idea to pull your prop periodically,
to guard against catastrophic outboard engine lower unit failure.
