2022 REGATTA TBA QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Response from Joshua Holt, park manager,
to our TBA questions from last weeks newsletter:

Slip space is going to be limited this year.  The park only has 5 slips that have not been sold for the season.  As we get closer I can get those slips number to you for use for the Regatta.
There will still be a day use fee to enter the park if you do not have an Annual Parks pass.

Sail boats can be brought in and parked in the overflow parking area by the Mast crane on Friday June 3, and they need to be removed by Sunday June 5.  This would go for any potential slips that are still available.
Empty trailers would also need to be parked in the overflow parking area. and removed by the same dates.
I will try to have some Hang tags made to show that the vessels are part of the Regatta.  Any Vessels coming from Lindon will need to follow the same timeline of no earlier than Friday the 3 and out by Sunday the 5.

We will need to try to keep transient docks as available as possible.  If any transient docks are used it needs to be for a temporary basis, and the North Ramp docks need to remain open for the Public.  The docks on the West Side of the Finger Jetty may be used, but keep in mind that those docks are in the areas that were not dredged and will be more shallow.  The Dock by the concession building cannot be used.

All Vessels will need to be following the AIS (Quagga Mussel) protocols.  If there are any vessels coming from out of state please make sure they are aware of what is necessary to comply with the AIS regulations for Utah.
