Deadline for Utah Lake Regatta Registration, Wednesday, June 2. We need a head count for the BBQ dinner.
|
5 Days To Race! Saturday June 5. Each boat registered by June 2, will be entered into the drawing for the Grand Prize.

Garmin GPSMAP 942xsPlus Fish Finder/Chartplotter Touchscreen Combo ($1,000+ navigation instrument) Only your boat entry will give you access to winning this awesome Grand Prize offered by the Utah Lake Commission.
Just a few things that are different this year:*There will be no Utah Lake Festival to coincide with the Regatta. (No food trucks this year. You will need to bring your own lunch)
*Bonneville has had to apply for a Covid-19 Event Permit, a Special Use Permit, and a Device on the Water Permit, from the DNR.
*There will be slips available for boats coming into Utah Lake State Park for the race. These slips are free from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. If we have lots of boats this year, slips will have to be first come-first served. Be prepared to anchor out on the north side of the north breakwater, if slips are taken. If you get a slip, bring your own fenders and dock lines.
*Plan on paying the Utah Lake State Park entrance fee of $15 to bring in a vehicle.
*A VHF Radio on board will ensure communications get to all racers out on the water.
*Utah Lake State Park has a mast crane if you need one.
*Utah Lake Commission is donating/sponsoring all swag this year. ****Thank you Eric and Sam for your great support of our Sailing Community!

Handicapping will level the playing field in your Division. Sail fast. Sail well. DISCLAIMER These are different times, as we all know. Due to ever changing CDC guidelines and restrictions, we don't know exactly what will be happening by June 5. As far as group gatherings (dinner and awards ceremony at our usual Provo Ice Rink Pavilion location), that may be one of the things that could change.
With so many boats getting craned out of the Great Salt Lake, we would like to extend a warm welcome to our sailing community from the GSLYC to join in the celebration of sailing, on Utah Lake. And also to the folks at Deer Creek and Jordanelle. This is a great opportunity to bring the sport of sailing in a desert to a whole new level.
We could still use a few extra volunteers to make things run real smooth:
BBQ Dinner helpers still needed
(pass out box dinners and other stuff)
Event Photographer (It's always awesome to see your boat from outside the boat) free Regatta BBQ dinner for all Volunteers Please give us a call 801-636-5204
