Summer Sailstice 2020. Spring Regatta sponsored by Lindon Marina.

Guidelines for SAILstice Participation.

How do you "self isolate"
AND
join in a world wide sailing celebration?

Make the crossing to Pelican Bay Marina, Utah lake, on the longest day of the year.

Set sail around 6 PM, Friday, June 19, 2020 and head over to Pelican Bay Marina, spend the night on your boat (or camp ashore), and sail back (or where ever), on Saturday, June 20, 2020, and know that you are out  on the water, joining the rest of the world,
to celebrate your sailing connection to wind, water and community.

Make sure everyone has a PFD, a VHF radio on channel 16, Windy Lookout App,
Ability to shorten sails (reefing / furler), An anchor hung on your bow pulpit, with at least 100' of ground tackle, GPS waypoint for Pelican Bay Marina, Working navigation lights, Camera for contest entries, Hatch screens (bugs have not been too bad ...yet), Sun hat, sun screen, sun glasses, 12 V LED light strands illuminated when coming into Pelican Bay,
and last but not least,
PPE's.

The longest day of the year might be a good choice
for challenging the Crosland Trophy record of "most miles sailed in a 24 hour period",
on Utah Lake.

Read Very Carefully
The Utah Lake Festival (June 6, 2020) has officially been canceled...
which means the Utah Lake Festival Regatta has also been canceled.

Thanks Lindon for sponsoring a "stunt double".
As a sailing community, we look forward to the Utah Lake Regatta, June 6, 2020.
