What: Join us for the annual overnighter trip to Saratoga Springs Marina on Utah Lake!
Who: All sailors, pirates, and crew on Utah Lake. Bring family, friends, and enjoy hanging out with fellow sailors on the docks overnight.
When: Fri-Sat, Jun 22-23. Plan your departure to arrive at Saratoga (Pelican Bay) around sunset (9:02 pm). Spend the night and sail back at your leisure Saturday morning.
Where: Sail to the Saratoga Springs public marina (used to be Pelican Bay). It's about 6 miles from Lindon Marina and a little over 7 miles from Provo Harbor. Saratoga was dredged last year and should have ample clearance for 4' draft boats.

How: Tack, close hauled, beam reach, broad reach, dead run, gybe, close reach, heel, reef, unfurl, pretty much anything will work except heaving to and motoring.
What to eat: Call ahead to Tenney's pizza in Saratoga Springs, they'll deliver pizza down to the docks. (801) 766-8200 or online at www.tenneyspizza.com. Call to place your order before 9pm, and they'll deliver to the docks before they close at 10pm. Or bring your dinner. And don't forget to bring breakfast to fuel your crew on the voyage back to your home port.
What to bring: In addition to the usual safety gear and a boat, don't forget your dock lines and fenders for tying up at Saratoga. Mosquito netting for open hatches when sleeping at the docks. Also cannons, just in case. There is a restroom on shore, grassy play area, BBQ grills and beautiful views of the lake and mountains.

Utah Lake State Park Remains Open!
(as well as all other marinas on the lake)
"There is currently a Harmful Algae Bloom advisory for Provo Bay, 3.5 miles away from the State Park Marina. The rest of the lake remains open at this time.
We advise visitors to avoid Provo Bay and areas of algae scum. See the image above for a map of the impacted area".
