Winter Sailing Seminar #5 Tuesday, February 20, 2018 7:00 - 8:30 PM, 116 W. Center, Provo.
Mike Harmer presenter. Mike has taken us along on a few of his BVI presentations in the past, so you know what a great job he does. Last year, Mike decided to get a bigger boat...but that took him to the Great Lakes. Follow his thought process and procedures for this sometimes (most always) complicated process. There are definitely some things you should do before signing on the dotted line.
Sam Penrod manages to get inside the Provo Marina for a dredging status report.
Next seminar, February 27 "Utah Lake, State of the Lake" presented by: Eric Ellis, Director of the Utah Lake Commission.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
FOR THIS SEMINAR ONLY "Utah Lake, State of the Lake" to be held at 51 S. University Ave. 3rd floor, ballroom. February 27, 2018 7:00 - 8:30 PM presented by: Eric Ellis, Director, Utah Lake Commission.

Starting in March, our newsletter "info" will be coming to you LIVE, from the decks of "Chasing Stars", as she heads for the Panama Canal... and beyond.
Chasing Stars is the Julian Family, 46' cat, leaving Florida, March 1, for Brisbane, Australia. They have asked for participation/support, to produce a blog that we can all enjoy as they sail the high seas. If you have any of the equipment list below, please consider donating/selling, to producing images that will teach and inspire for a lifetime.
"We are still looking to acquire video equipment to document this epic trip and produce YouTube videos for all to enjoy. Plus to help with homeschooling. We would appreciate any guidance or leads that the group may have on the following":
- Drone (more portable the better)
- Microphones - shotgun and lapel
- Action cameras (GoPRo or other)
- DSLR or other main camera for video
- SSD hard drives, SD cards
- Video editing guidance

Playing on the Westeinderplassen in winter.
Wouldn't playing brass instruments be more dangerous than ice boating on the Hudson??
