Dolphins - Catalina Island, Clinic & Summer Games
We just returned from another great trip to Catalina Island. On the first day we saw some impressive 8 - 10 foot swells coming over the seawalls at Long Beach. After arriving in Avalon, we enjoyed a BBQ of hamburgers & kielbasa while viewing the sights of Avalon Harbor. Day two brought a mix of activites. Exploring the shops and restaurants of Avalon, checking out the underwater park, practicing man overboard recoveries, anchoring and operating procedures for our Lagoon 380 catamaran, kept everyone busy. The new Pirates of The Carribean movie was advertised to open May 20, and the buzz on the streets was that Johnny Depp was spotted in Avalon attending the premiere.
It was a fun trip with a great group of salty dawgs.

We still have some room on our Olson 30, for our upcoming racing clinic, on June 11th. We've had first hand experience with Chris and have enjoyed his fun and easy going manner. Whether you are a serious racer or just want to learn some new ways to improve your boat handling skills and have fun out on the water, this will be a great clinic. (Racing experience is not necessary).Land-Based Class 10 AM - Noon
