Bonneville announces their inaugural

April 21-22-23, 2011

An elegant and spacious Lagoon 38 catamaran has been secured for a three-day adventure cruise to Catalina Island, leaving Long Beach at 10 AM Thursday, April 21 and returning between 4-5 PM Saturday, April 23.

This is a unique opportunity to learn the systems and functions of a big charter catamaran from our skipper, Roger Bliss, plus the perfect stable platform to learn some Celestial Navigation basics from Bonneville’s CN instructor, Doug Hendricks. And just to sweeten the deal, we’ll set sail to that dream destination, the place they write songs about..

…Catalina Island. Once we arrive at Two Harbors on Catalina, you’ll have free time to explore the island, pull on a mask for some incredible snorkeling, window shop in Avalon or maybe even “hangout on” the new 3/4 mile long zip line. Of course we could always go for a sail too.

We have room for 8 crew, and as space is limited we would encourage you to reserve your spot by March 28^th with a one half down deposit (non-refundable). At $195 per day, per person, you will not find a better adventure cruise, combined with an educational navigation course and hands on experience anywhere on the planet. Your skipper Roger Bliss who recently presented a Winter Sailing Seminar on Catalina chartering, is ready to introduce you to the Lagoon 38. Price includes a chauffeured drive from the airport to the boat and back again, complete provisioning, on-board sleeping accommodations, fuel, mooring fees, CN tuition and big cat check ride.
