Bonneville School of Sailing - Intro to Sailing Class

Bonneville School of Sailing

We had a packed room for our last Winter Sailing Seminar.  Mike Harmer gave an impressive presentation on chartering in the British Virgin Islands.  It was a great conclusion to our seminars and we'd like to thank all of you who attended and supported us.

Now onto getting the boats in the water.  It may be cold today but the ice in the harbor should be gone soon!

In preparation for the 2011 sailing season, we will be offering a an entry level, introductory land based sailing class. Have you ever had "escape envy"?  Watching a sailboat glide across the wide open expanses of Utah Lake can do that.  Bonneville School of Sailing is offering an "Introduction to Sailing" class that will help you morph from a land lubber to a salty dawg in just 3 land based classes.  This class is designed to teach you the language of sailing, parts of a sailboat, wind and its effects on sails, and much more.  Our past students have asked if they could apply their new found knowledge to an actual sailing experience . . . so back by popular demand, we are offering an optional 4th lesson out on the water under sail.

This class will be held on March 21st, March 28th and April 4th in Orem.
The fee for the three land based classes is $85.00.
The optional on-the-water lesson is $25.00.

Treat yourself, or buy a gift certificate for someone special. Bring along a friend, but don't let this be another year you deal with "escape envy".
