Lots of Q&A at our "I wanna go to the BVI'S" planning meeting. Mike gives us lots of tips, facts and experience on the who, what, why and where we all want to know when planning a trip to a foreign locale. Mike shares an interesting packing tip . . . "once you've packed your bags, remove 50% of your stuff (you'll never need/use it) and board the plane in t-shirt, shorts and flippies" (especially when doing the BVI's in January).

NOAA announced last month that the Federal Aviation Administration, the government agency that prints maritime charts, will cease printing paper charts after April 13, 2014. Print-on-demand shops will still offer paper charts, with fixed prices set by the government to assure affordability. (OceanGrafix.com)
